Brooks' birthday party

We waited for Asher and Cohen to get back from Oklahoma to celebrate Brooks' birthday. He did a pretty good job at opening his presents and he loved his cake. What a sweet baby! We love you Mr. Brooks.

Quiet Sacrament

Gray was so good today at church. He fell asleep right after the bread. Yes I took a picture in church, I had to capture this quiet moment.

Gray is OUT!

I decided to paint Gray's room and didn't think of where he would nap. So he didn't get one and right when we pulled out of the driveway to run errands I looked back and saw this.

Catching fish in Oklahoma

Asher and Cohen went back with Mary and Genelle and have been on OK for a week now. They are having the time of their lives. They have been fishing in Popo's pond, on his boat and over at the neighbors pond. Yesterday on the boat they caught 61 fish. They also have enjoyed a cousin movie night at Michelle and Zane's house, went to a bounce house place, and to Jellystone. Not sure what they are up to today. It is going to be a rough awakening when they come home to realize we aren't doing something everyday. We will be meeting Mary and George half way to pick them up on Saturday. I have really missed them. But it has been fun hanging out with the younger ones. I forgot when they are this little you don't really get to have any type of conversation. Well I take that back, it has mostly been no Gray, get in time out Gray. Can't wait to pick up the rest of our family!!

Happy 1st Birthday Brooks

One year ago today our family was blessed with this sweet little boy. That day started out as any other day. I took the boys to the dollar store and then to Target to take something back. After I returned the item Gray had a dirty diaper. So I was carrying him to the bathroom to change it and slip on some water and did the whole slow motion fat pregnant lady splits. Instantly i didn't feel right. I changed Gray and came out to employees wanting me to fill out an accident report that would take 30 minutes. My boys were running around the store and I again wasn't feeling right. I passed and went home. I just felt like laying down. Getting nervous that I haven't felt him move lately I called my doctor's office and told them what had happened. They told me to go to the hospital and my doctor would meet me there. So called a sitter to watch to watch my boys, called Zach and off I went. They were doing the whole stress test on the baby and I was contracting a lot. A little later my wonderful doctor came in and was concerned with his heart rate and that we were going to have this baby tonight. We didn't have a name, no bag, no camera, a 12 year old at my house. Things were NOT going according to my plan. Later that night we were blessed with a sweet little boy. 5 lbs 12 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long. We decided on Brooks minutes before we went into the operating room. Brooks hadn't been a name we were considering. It felt right and later in the hospital decided on his middle name. Brooks Loyal Anderson. Loyal is after Zach's great grandpa. Brooks spent the first night in the NICU. He came in the next morning and since then he has been the PERFECT ending to our family. He has brought us so much joy. His older brother's can't get enough of him. He is so sweet and has such a great spirit about him. Thank you Heavenly Father for another amazing boy. We love you Brooks!!!

Brooks is crawling, pulling himself up, loves his brothers, bubble guppies, Mickey Mouse, mom and dad, sleeps great, food.
