Provo Trip

We took a quick trip to Provo, Utah this past weekend, where we met up with my whole family to watch Nevada play BYU. My family was split, but in the end Nevada won. We fit in as many things as we could in the day and half we were there. We went to the BYU bookstore, Out N Back (Zach's old job), the mall, Roman Garden's (where Zach and I met), to get Pupusa (mine and Zach's favorite place to eat in Provo), Los Hermanos, Nickelcade, Nevada/BYU football game, had a horrible experience at Smokehouse Pizza and BBQ, got frozen yogurt, and couldn't forget to get Granny Sycamore bread.

Look at those mountains!

We met up with their cousin's at the Nickelcade.

Zach took the boys to Roman Garden's to show them where we met.
"Hi Kelly, this is Zach from 105"
Still makes me laugh:)
Asher and Cohen had a GREAT time seeing their cousins again.

Double the trouble was back in action! Those two make me smile. They LOVE each other. It was fun to see them together again.

I love this boy!!!!

LOVE THOSE CHEEKS AND BIG EYES!!!!!!

Disneyland here we come in.....

One of my favorite things to do is to make a count down chain for an exciting event coming up. I think Disneyland in one of those events.
We can hardly wait!

Where's Cohen????

If you guessed in Gray's crib you were right.
You get extra points if you guessed his
shirt would be off.

This is Cohen's favorite new thing. Lovin' it for sure.

Where did time go?

Asher and Cohen went out to do some "yard work" this afternoon. It made me flash back to when Asher was younger and ALL he wanted to do was mow the yard with Zach. To the point where he would cry if he didn't get to help.

Look how little he is.

Yard work makes me cry too, but not because I don't get to help.

(I see Gray in this picture of Asher)

I can't believe how big he has gotten. He doesn't even need Zach anymore to mow the yard. Maybe it has to do with the fact that his mower isn't real. And yes, he is wearing HOT pajama's in the late afternoon. Go figure.

Gotta love these boys!

I don't have anything special to report. I was just looking at some pictures
and found a few that
I thought were pretty cute, if I do say so myself.
Best of Friends!
Happy Gray
Gotta love the way he put his hat on.

Gray's first cookie

Today I decided to break my own rules and give Gray a chocolate chip cookie. Usually I wait to get the go ahead from the doctor,(lame yes) but as he was sitting there getting so excited I just gave in. As you can see, he thoroughly enjoyed it.

I really need to lighten up and not be such a rule follower ALL the time. I mean, look how happy he is. Too cute.

Right on Track

Our boy's, well take their time when it comes to rolling over, sitting, crawling and walking. Gray is no exception to that. He is 7 months old and really hasn't rolled over yet. I should give him some credit though, he has done it maybe twice, but only one way and weeks in between so I don't really count that. But tonight he did it a few times, both ways. Wahoo! I can't believe how big he is getting. Time has gone by too fast.
I think it must have been this up close and personal pep talk he got from Cohen that did the trick. READY....

SET......

ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He can sit up, kinda. His balance is sure getting better. But as for crawling, o we still have a while to go. I am just happy he figured out how to roll:)

Play time at the Park

Last week I took the boys to the park by our neighborhood, so we were able to walk. Along the path there are several grasshoppers, poor poor things. This has become Asher and Cohen's favorite hobby. (I feel like I should mention that Cohen and Gavin did this ALL the time. Gavin probably was Cohen's trainer). They will go out behind our house along the trail and spend hours catching them and then racing them to the little pool we have in our backyard (there is no water in it). I don't think they realize they can hop out, but whatever keeps them entertained. So anywho, while we were walking to the park Cohen (going to State in this sport) is pretty amazing at catching them, will keep it in his hand forever. Once we got there he was sending it down the slide and then following it. He said it wanted to go down.

The grasshopper is that little shadow at the bottom. Cohen made sure he didn't slide on it and is watching it very carefully to make sure it doesn't hop off.
Asher does enjoy catching grasshoppers, but really just wanted to play, and not worry about babysitting them.
Cohen set the grasshopper down for a bit to ride his bike. After he was finished he picked it right back up and off to the next thing.

And Asher just having a great time outside.

SURPRISE TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night Zach called and said he had to go to his Corporate office to get his computer back, so he was going to be awhile. I thought nothing of it and went about getting the boys ready for bed. Zach walks in and hands me some keys and says,"go check out your new ride". What???? So I go out to the driveway and this is what is waiting for me!!!

Can you believe it? I sure can't. Zach had traded in his truck to get this Tahoe. I am loving my new ride and Zach is not loving his ride so much. He now drives a mini van to his job sights. Funny image, right? So we will see how long he lasts. My guess is he will have a new truck before September is over, most likely before the week is over. But what do I care I have a new car!! Thanks Zach you rock.

Backyard project completed

We have not loved our backyard since the day we moved in. So we decided it was time for a change. Here are some before and after pictures.

I forgot the real before picture. But basically they just took out all the grass in that area.

Here is another view.
AND THE COMPLETED PROJECT!!!!!!!

We LOVE our new area to our backyard. Some how, our backyard feels much bigger now. We have been out there every night since they hooked the gas up. Even when it was just cement. Honestly we looked kind of ghetto, but we didn't care we had fire! The weather here is perfect to sit out at night. We are happy to have a backyard we like now!
