A little about Gray

Didn't mean to just end it like that. See not very good at this. An update on our family.
We added another little boy to our family. Gray Bentley Anderson was born on January 21, 2010 at 7:41 am. He was 6lbs 4 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. He HAD dark brown hair but now is falling out, so who knows what color it will come in as.

He unfortunately got RSV when he was almost 4 weeks of age. I noticed he was sick on Feb. 13 and so I took him in on Monday and they checked his oxygen in take and it was around 95. So they had me bring him in on Tuesday and it around 93. So we scheduled for Thursday. Well Tuesday night wasn't a great night and I knew he was getting worse so I took him in on Wednesday the 17th and his oxygen level dropped to 70. So the doctor told me he needed to go to the hospital, so crying full of hormones they sent me with Gray on oxygen to Children's hospital. They started sucking his goobers and started an IV and next thing I know they said he needed to go to the main Children's Hospital and we were going by ambulance. So they finished getting his IV set and the flight team came and put him in one of those incubator things and off we went. We were in the hospital for a full week. It was the hardest thing I had to watch, but honestly I felt a lot of pressure off my shoulders now that we were with people who knew what to do for him. Like I said we were there for a full week and then were able to go home with him on oxygen for another week and a half.

While we were with Gray, me never leaving his side and Zach leaving for work during the day and back as soon as he could, my sister's, sister-in-law and friends took care of my boys. They will never know how much I appreciated that. It is so nice to live by family for many reasons, but at times like that it was a huge blessing. Now he is doing well. He is gaining weight and it almost 11 weeks old. He is such a sweet baby, sleeping great. The boys love having a little brother. I am thankful to have all my boys home and healthy.
